Ken J Galaxy (Kennard Jackson) developed his understanding of garment construction and functionality through observation and hands-on training, growing up an inquisitively enthusiastic minor in theatre.

 

He believes finding an equation that works best for you as an artist is fundamental in artistry development; his was silent observation. Observing ethics and aesthetics of established artist influenced his embrace of integrity, wisdom, and independence. 

 

Ken J landed his first job in fashion in a local children's boutique; grooming him for his first job in editorial as Stylist Assistant. As time went on, establishing himself as a freelance Stylist forced his expansion into a larger ocean as Style Enthusiast and Consultant. These experiences induced such a catalog of work that includes a multiplicity of online & print publications (e.g.: The Fashionisto, Kaltbult, OhLaLa, IMMO, STARK Magazine, Dorian Magazine) and in television (e.g.: BET's Bobby Jones Gospel, Sundays Best & Celebration of Gospel). Ken J currently function as Fashion Editor for “IN The Mag”, Motivational Blogger and Freelance Style Enthusiast while continuing studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the voyage continues…
